When I met Erika Bogan a few short months ago, I knew that we met for a reason. You see, she is a paraplegic and an inspiration to ALL! She has an amazing story to tell and share with the world. Thank you so much to those of you that have supported me in my March of Dimes fundraiser! Whether you are walking with us, made a donation or ordered Heritage Makers, I appreciate it more than you know. Hopefully, one day with our help, all babies will be born with a healthy chance at life.

Reminder About Workshop On Thursday 3/26

Hi Everyone!
I'm so excited about the Workshop tomorrow at my house! Please take a moment to RSVP. I'll have snacks and drinks. Some of you asked for ideas on what to learn how to make with Heritage Makers:

* Mother's Day/Father's Day storybook with a matching card
* Birth Announcements
* Recipe book with Grandma's recipes
* Cards: birthday, sympathy, thank you notes, etc.

These are just a few ideas. Ask me for more or share your own :o) If you are unable to attend the Workshop tomorrow, no worries. I'm taking orders until March 31st to go towards March of Dimes.

March of Dimes Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family,

In memory of my son Baby Brian and in honor of my son, Joey, I am supporting the March of Dimes by participating in the March for Babies on April 25th, 2009 in Roswell, GA. Volunteers like you and me help raise funds that support lifesaving research to prevent premature births and infant mortality. Now in its 34th year, March for Babies gives moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, family members and friends the opportunity to help the March of Dimes fight prematurity.

Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death in the first month of life. It's on the rise - up 27% since 1981. And it can happen to any pregnant woman. In nearly half the cases, the causes are unknown. The March of Dimes is leading the way to find answers by supporting research into the causes of premature birth.

You and a friend are invited to a Heritage Makers Workshop/March of Dimes Fundraiser! Last year we raised well over $500. Let's top that this year! Come, enjoy some snacks and learn how to create your very own storybooks, greeting cards/playing cards, calendars, etc. using your very own photos and stories. You will love the new concept of storybooking and what great gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day! Help us raise money for March of Dimes. Proceeds will go directly to our March of Dimes team with Northside Hospital.
